Can I try before I buy?

Yes, of course. You can play with Vinyl Dreams for 7 days and cancel anytime during that period. After that you can subscribe for a weekly, monthly, or annual plan. Annual is the best value.

Can I get specific questions answered?

Yes, email us at support@vinyldreams.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Why are there credits given when I create a song or music video? Isn’t this my song?

Yes, we want you to take the original style and sounds and make them your own and take credit as the artist. But we also want to credit the producers and other musical contributors for their work and we ask that you pass those credits along. This is similar, though less formal than, the process that goes on in popular music today.

Do I need an internet connection to use Vinyl Dreams?

You’ll need an internet connection to download new styles, swap instruments and master your song.

Can I use vinyl dreams with other apps?

Vinyl dreams works as a host app, meaning that it can receive audio from other apps, but will not act as an instrument or effect.

Why does “recommended sounds” give me chords that are different from what’s already in my circle?

While Vinyl Dreams does have thousands of sounds, we don’t always have a sound performed in every key. Sometimes Vinyl Dreams will recommend chords that are related to what’s in your circle, meaning they share many of the same notes. (For example, Cmaj and Amin are related).

Can I record instruments or my voice?

Yes! You can record right into your device’s microphone. Vinyl Dreams also supports mobile audio interfaces like Apogee’s Duet and IK Multimedia’s iRig.

I forgot my login details

“Need help signing in?" will direct you to resetting your password.

Can I collaborate with others to make music and videos?

Yes you can. The people whom you wish to collaborate with need to have a Vinyl Dreams account and you need to know their username. Go to My music/video creations on the home page and tap the three dots.

My recorded vocals aren't in sync with the music?

Wireless headphones may be causing this issue. Please use connected headphones while recording.

What is the Vinyl Cloud and why is it there?

The Vinyl Cloud can be used as limited storage for your Vinyl Dreams creations and as a staging platform to collaborate with other Vinyl Dreams creators. With your paid subscription you get 1 GB of free storage and you can buy more when and if you exceed the limits. The Vinyl Dreams team thinks this is an easier way to manage your favorite creations than using standard storage systems.
